Overview: The Champions Tournament will be a Pool Play tournament. There will be a qualifier round to determine what pool you get placed in. If you choose not to participate in the qualifier round, you may get placed in a random pool with others who chose not to participate, therefore, making your chances of advancing slim. You will then play a Round Robin within your pool, and the top 2 from each pool will advance to a single elimination knockout round. The winner of the knockout round wins the tournament.

Number of Pokemon Used: In the qualifier round, you may only use 1 Pokemon. In the Pool Play rounds, you may use up to 3 Pokemon. In the knockout rounds, you may use up to 6 Pokemon.

Substitutions: You may NOT sub in the qualifier or pool play rounds. You will be permitted to sub in the knockout rounds as long as you send out a different Pokemon than the Pokemon subbed out.

Banned Moves: There will be no banned moves in the Champions Tournament.

Banned Pokemon: You may not use any Pokemon that is banned in this tournament. If you do, you will be told to deposit it in the PC by a tournament official. Failing to do so may result in your disqualification.
